This design allows guests to experience the sounds of the surrounding nature, including waves and local wildlife, though it may also bring some ambient noise.

The property includes amenities such as free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, free parking, an outdoor pool, and beach access. Some rooms come equipped with kitchens, and an airport shuttle service is available, though air conditioning and pet-friendliness are not offered. Eco‑friendly stay with incredible views and great spaces for relaxing or working! Casa Cascada is a unique, eco‑friendly Airbnb with seven rooms. The rooms are small but comfortable, with screened openings instead of windows—perfect for catching the breeze, though it can get a little noisy with birds, nearby dogs, or other guests. The views are absolutely spectacular, especially from the main common area, which spans the entire complex. There’s a shared kitchen, a huge dining table, lots of loungers and hammocks, a big comfy couch, and an infinite lap pool, all under a covered space that stays shaded throughout the day. There’s also an open covered workspace downstairs, making this a great spot for anyone working remotely while enjoying Puerto Escondido. Each morning, Lupe prepared a delicious breakfast—fresh fruit with homemade granola, a hot dish like chilaquiles, and plenty of coffee. She also helped arrange taxis and tours, which was incredibly convenient. We also met the owner, Christine, who turned out to be a friend-of-a-friend. She was warm, welcoming, and joined us for morning coffee, which made the stay feel personal and memorable. A wonderful experience overall—we would definitely return.

This was my second visit to Casa Cascada and it always delivers. The casa is beautifully designed - novelties include hearing the sound of waves from your bed, and the use of natural light (particularly for waking up). There are lovely views from the open air/plan living space and pool area. The communal vibe is also a part of the fun of staying here. I have to take a moment to show appreciation for those who keep things running. Lupita (Lupe) is the heart and soul of the casa whilst Memo does an excellent job keeping everything in order. Anyone who has stayed will always remember Lupe's breakfasts and her smile! The location is great with plenty of food options for a variety of budgets and vibes. Approx 5 mins via moped/15-20 min walk to Rinconada which includes Playa Carrizalillo for those interested in surfing but aren't quite up to the challenge in La Punta/Zicatela. 15 mins via moped to Zicatela. There is also a private access down to Playa Manzanillo from the casa (it's not a maintained path so if that is not your jam, you are not far from the steps which are at the end of Pedro Ferriz). I will stay here again when I am next in Pto.

Incredible terrace… the pictures don’t do it justice! You can watch the sun set from the infinity pool…. It doesn’t get much better than that. One of the best views I’ve ever seen. We were worried about the ‘open’ rooms but they do have mosquito net doors and windows so no bugs. It’s pretty hot in the rooms without AC but we were able to get to sleep OK. There is also a delicious family-style breakfast served by Lupita the lovely host which is a nice way to meet the other people staying. It’s a 2 min walk down a private path to the beach. What a place!

Very pretty place and Lupita is such a great cook, we were very excited to wake up and enjoy her breakfast. The place itself is very scenic and well thought through, I loved waking up to the sound of the birds and watching the sunset! It’s right next to a nice beach but other than that unfortunately a bit far out from everything. You always have to walk a steep hill up for 15mins or take a taxis (which they love to charge extra for). Would I stay again? Yes if I just want to relax and don’t want or need to explore around.

What an amazing time. We loved it here - everything from the service to the views to the proximity to the beach, it cannot be beat. We're planning to already come back in six months! Highly, Highly recommend.

Really great Airbnb experience. Smooth communication, incredible common space with a large open kitchen and amazing pool area. The sunset views are unmatched!! Just a couple things keep me from giving 5 stars: our room (specifically bathroom) was not very clean, and the breakfast portions were a bit small and very strict (example: only one little bowl of fruit per guest). Other than that I really recommend :)

Casa Cascada is a breathtaking home! Its architecture, blending cement and steel, is seamlessly integrated into the surrounding vegetation, creating a truly unique atmosphere. The location is excellent—close to the town center and within walking distance of several beaches. However, I’d still recommend renting a car to explore the area more easily, especially Playa Roca Blanca. As mentioned in other reviews, the rooms don’t have windows, giving the sensation of sleeping right on the beach. Our room featured a stunning ocean view, both from the bed and a small private terrace. The bathroom was impressively spacious, with a double sink and double shower. The only downside was the soap dispenser in the shower, which felt out of place in such a beautifully designed space. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful while also respecting guests’ privacy.
